Helloo my sweeties! How are you all?
Now I want to continue my last title "a Part of a Treasures in Indonesia" (part 2). After spent the day in Umbul Sidomukti, I went to monastery, named avalokitesvara and brown canyon.
Okay, I'll tell you a little about this monastery. Complex Vihara Avalokitesvara Buddhagaya Watugong which has an area of 2.25 hectares is comprised of five main buildings with two main buildings, namely Pagoda avalokitesvara and Dhammasala monastery built in 1955. And then, in the complex, there is also Watugong Monument, a statue of Kwan Im, a statue of Buddha under the Bodhi tree, brown sleeping Buddha statue, and lotus ponds around the pagoda. Bodhi tree in Buddhagaya temple courtyard planted by Sir Naradha Mahathera in 1955.
The most famous icon of the Buddhagaya temple is called Avalokitesvara pagoda Metakaruna which means love and affection. This pagoda was erected to honor the Goddess Kwan Im Po Sat believed by Buddhists as the goddess of love. Pagoda Avalokitesvara has 45 meters high and consists of 7 levels, this level serve as a sanctity that would be achieved by a hermit after reaching the seventh level.
After visiting monastery, I move on to the next place. namely brown canyon. BROWN CANYON is a hill that has more than 10 years activities of dredging soil, sand excavation. Because every day in so many years to do the dredging and retrieval of material, then it was formed into a unique cliff similar to "GRAND CANYON". This place is very good for photography.
